Eddie Plummer
If you have a sense of humor and truly love people, Eddie was your guy.
Eddie Plummer, the plumber, was a self-branded name no one forgot. People would say," Excuse me, he's Eddie Plummer the plumber?" Yes, that's exactly right. I will surely miss not being able to see the expression on the faces, hearing his name for the first time.
Eddie was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding. Definitely the fellowship of fellow riders that would join his group. He was always willing to support charitable rides for fallen brothers or sisters. Supporting others was important to him.
Eddie became clean for about 6 years. I made the biggest mistake at this time. I dropped my guard. My son had "made it." I had been saved.
Encouraging and praying for others as always, but completely confident the sky was now his limit. After battling failed relationships, owing fees and fines, and addiction and all its legal problems, he had survived!
Eddie spent those five years working hard and received a huge amount of "5-star reviews." Each mentioned his attention to detail and job well done. He became the father every child wants. His son had a wonderful 15th birthday. He regained his privilege to vote!
Eddie gave all he had. He relapsed and, under tremendous stress and relationship problems, used. He used fentanyl and overdosed.
Good Friday will always look different to us. I miss Eddie and will continue to celebrate his life with my love.
